The safer way is to send your email to support@micress.de .
More people will get it and will take care independent of individual out of office periods.
Anyway, Georg will answer today, I think.
Best,
Ralph

Re: VTK input error
As far as I know, MICRESS can only read dataset of the type 'structered_points'.
If you change the dataset line, it should work.

Ralph

Re: Micpad issues with Micress 6.4
Ah, got it.
You use a starter script inside MICpad and this will be killed
If you start MICpad in an appropriate MICRESS environment and choose a MICRESS binary in the configuration, everything will work as expected.
Cheers,
Ralph

Re: Micpad issues with Micress 6.4
Hi Deepu, Did you give MICpad 6.402 a try ? We fixed some issues, already (see Change_Log.txt), esp. regarding restarts. The killing process prob is a new one. It's working like a charme on my side (Windows and Linux). Are you sure that it was no old instance or detached in between? If you only open...

New MICRESS website cuts forum view
Hi all,
the MICRESS website got a new design. Look great, but ...
If you see the forum embedded in the website, please clean your browser cash. To prevent a cut view of the forum, it should be represented now without the MICRESS website design.
Cheers,
Ralph

Re: Error in reading diffusivity from database
Welcome, Kamal! next quesion ... Which Thermo-Calc version did you use to create the GES5 file? MICRESS 5.4 use a Thermo-Calc library from TC version R (32 bit) and requires an appropriate GES5 file format. For sure, a file generated with a 32 bit version of Thermo-Calc. But there were other interna...

Re: Post Processing using Paraview
Ah sorry!
I should have tried it with the same version before giving advice.
It works as expected at my site (win 64 bit, Paraview 5.5.0).
Maybe an OpenGL problem?
Can you try an installation on another machine?

Re: Post Processing using Paraview
Can you try to change the slicing pane to XZ ?
Seems that Paraview 5.5 takes XY per default, now. Former versions just evaluate dimensions as given in the VTK and present the 2D plane as defined.
