Dear Bernd:
When I choose the xyz_axis, in the following input, there are

# interface-energy-factor z/x?
0.30000
# mobility-factor z/x
3.0000
#
What's the meaning of these two factors? is it the ratio of the inferface energies or mobilities between two interfaces or directions?
Best wishes
swh

# Is phase 2 anisotrop?
# Options: isotropic anisotropic faceted antifaceted
anisotropic
# Crystal symmetry of the phase?
# Options: none xyz_axis cubic hexagonal
xyz_axis
.........

# Is interaction isotropic?
# Options: isotropic anisotropic
anisotropic
# static anisotropy coefficient? (< 1.)
0.10000
# kinetic anisotropy coefficient? (< 1.)
0.90000
# interface-energy-factor z/x?
0.30000
# mobility-factor z/x
3.0000

Dear swh,

it is not the factor between the interfacial energies or mobilities themselves, but between the level of anisotropy! Janin explained it more explicitly in this thread.

xyz_axis specifies a tetragonal anisotropy with 90° angles like cubic, but different strength of anisotropy in the different directions.
