Problem with installation of MICRESS-7.003

Dear Expert,

I am having problem with installation of version 7.003. It is giving the following error:

Database
# ========
# Is a thermodynamic database to be used?
# Options: database database_verbose database_consistent no_database
database GES_Files/TC2015a_FeCMn

# License check ...

# No valid license could be found at the default locations:
# MICRESS directory or location specified by the
# environment variables 'ACMICRES_LICENSE_FILE' or 'MICRESS_LICENSE'
# Please specify a license file
# or a machine where a license server is running (i.e. @<server_name>)
# (Type 'verbose' or press 'return' to enable diagnostics)
# (Input 'file dialogue' or press 'return' twice
# for a file selection tool)

Please let us know how to solve this problem,

Hi Krishnendu,

you can just follow the instruction displayed by MICRESS:

Code: Select all

# Please specify a license file
# or a machine where a license server is running (i.e. @<server_name>)
Enter a license file or server interactively. Once, a license was checked out successfully, you do not have to repeat this. This information does not have to be part of the driving file.

Or follow the instruction to install MICRESS detailed in the online manual:

P.S.:
License question are usually a topic for the commercial support (support@micress.de).
They usually need the output of the MIC_info script (located in the intallation folder). In fact, I will answer there myself :)
