Grain Boundary

I am working on solidification of a metal. But I am unable to differentiate the grain boundaries from the grain. Can anyone please give some logic for solving my problem. Thank you.

Can you please give us some more details - do you have problems with reading in experimental microstructures, or is it about interpreting your simulation results?
